Firefox problems solved

I've finally solved the problem with firefox browsers not having the outgoing clicks counted. Not sure why it wasn't working before but by attempting to fix the problem I came up with a totally new way of solving the problems and improving the efficiency of the site. Also helped me improve my own links page on my arcade site 247mgf, so good all round :). Thank you to those you informed me of the problem. Any more problems let me know.

All the best.

How links247 works

Due to the Firefox problem that I hope to rectify today I thought I would explain a little more about how Links247 works.

To allow for true direct links that will in time count for PR value and traffic I have had to use javascript to count the outgoing clicks. If javascript is turned off in your browser then the click will not be counted but the link will still work, all in all I thought receiving the traffic was better for you than having perfect stats (although from our point of view the stats would have been better - makes us look better). So believe your own stats because ours could show a lower level of clicks out than you are receiving.

Firefox Problems

It has come to my attention that outgoing clicks are not counted if you are using the Firefox browser.

As yet I haven't been able to discover why the outgoing stats are not updating when using Firefox but I will do my best to correct the issue as soon as possible.

All the best.

Welcome to Links 24/7 - IMPORTANT NOTICE

As you may have noticed Links 247 looks very similar to Mister Linker. When Mister Linker didn't return I thought I would try and write the php to create the same pages. I am learning php so this was a good opportunity to create a script from scratch (albeit the design was mostly done for me). Hopefully Mister Linker returns but in the meantime I will continue to improve Links 247. The reviews aren't working yet but that is coming soon as are other features I would like to add. Keep checking back.

All the best.
